Locating your Website Submissions (Demystified)

Locating your Website Submissions (Demystified)

A few months ago, along with the release of our new website designs, we published some new features! Amongst these updates is the option to now view your form and donation submissions within the back end of your website.

Tutorial 1 Form Submissions : Where to find them?

With the Custom Form Maker, it’s possible to not only create and customize multiple forms for your website, but also find and export the form submissions. You can find more about how to create and customize forms by clicking here.

That’s great, you have created a new form….now what? Use the form submissions to your advantage! Website forms are intended to be interactive. If someone submitted a prayer request – pray for them. If someone submitted a contact form – contact them. If someone filled out a registration form and has questions – get in touch.

You can find all of the submission information in the back end of your website. The graphic below gives you an overview of locating, filtering, and downloading your form submissions.

Go to Components – Form Maker – Forms

This shows a summary of the form(s) you have on your website

Click on Submissions on the left hand side. From here you will be able to choose which form you would like to view the submissions for

You can also export this information by clicking on Export To and select CSV or XML

A file will download, like the image below. Open, and use the submission information as needed.

Tutorial 2 Donor Information : Where to find it?

With JoomDonation website visitors can make donations to your church or ministry without a check or cash payment. They can also choose which ministry or project to tithe or donate to. You can find more about how to customize your donations page by clicking here.

You can find all of the donor information in the back end of your website. The graphic below gives you an overview of locating, filtering, and downloading your donor information.

Go to Components – Joom Donation - Dashboard

From your dashboard select Donors

You will see a list of your donors, date, amount, etc.

From here, you can export this information to an excel file. Click on export donors. A file will download, like the image below. Open, and use the donor information as needed.

All of the data within the back end of your website is stored for the lifetime of your website, which is encouraging news! The information is only ever removed at the Administrators request. You can login at your convenience to view any of the information you need or store it externally in the CSV files you download.

Since involvement is a quintessential reason for your church to have a website, we encourage you to use the information stored in the backend of your website. For example, your church treasurer needs the donor information for the month of May. The administrator can log in to the backend of the site, follow the instructions to export the donor information, and sort the donations based on date range. The treasurer can now add the online donations and tithing to their May funds.

Prerequisites needed for your submissions to show

The only recommendation that Kingdom gives is to use a browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari when accessing the administrative side of your website. Microsoft announced that Internet Explorer is no longer a supported web browser and it is not as up to date as Kingdom’s software. It is likely that you will run into hiccups with any website you frequent on Internet Explorer’s web browser.

Submission access allows you to find everything you need, all in one place on the backend of your website. Now that you’re equipped with the knowledge on how to increase your involvement through form submissions and donor information, go out and continue to make your website, great!
